Well, my day today was very eventful. I started out by sleeping in uber late, which was fantastic!!! Then the roomies and I decided to go to the warf by the bay (well, duh, warfs are always by water). That was cool, I took some pics with my cell, they are ok, can't wait for my cam to show up it'll be fabulous!!
After that it was time for pizza and beer...I was the apt. outcast cuz no cheese, but whatever. So during the beer and pizza some peeps from school came a knock-knock-knocking at my door and told me that I HAD to go to this party in town. Now, I'm thinking, "Party? I am soooo there!!" The thing I neglected to think about was, "How well do I know these people, and how am I getting home?"
So were at the party, kickin it, having fun and junk. So some booze and such was handed to me and I took what I liked, and passed what I didn't. It was cool. Now mind you, I was completely across town with no car, no money and no way of finding my way on my own...hehe, sounds fun right?
The party decided that we were moving back to my building, and I was thinking, "Great, at least I'll be close to home!" None of us realized that it was definitely 2:30am and most of the buses were shut down for the night. How convenient! So the fabulous idea of calling a cab was brought to the table, again, FABULOUS idea (for those that had money). I had a bus pass, so I was like ha, no taxi for Robby poo.
So a few fellow building mates and I decided to walk in the Fillmore direction. We were definitely upset that our fellow party members decided to taxi it home knowing good and well that we were completely broke, bastards. I started cussing their names in my head, wishing not very nice things to happen (nothing too manical, just a nice little flat tire or something). I soon realized that wishing harm no matter how trivial was wrong, so I then started thinking how nice it would be if they stopped and were gracious enough to give us a ride. WHICH THEY SOOOOO DID, BTW. So I didn't have to wonder my way through the ghetto of San Francisco at night with out any real plans as to where I was going. PERFECT!!!
I learned a very valuable lesson tonight: Do not for any circumstances go to a party in a part of town that I don't know, with people that I don't know well. It makes for a stressful situation that could've been avoidable.
But at least I had fun, right?
I am now at the apt. with nothing to do, so I'll probably read some more of my psychology book, and then go to bed or something. Let's see what I get into tomorrow!!!
